Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your desktop PC. The integrated drag & drop functionality will allow you to effortlessly transfer files between your personal computer and the hosting server. Simply select the file that you wish to upload from your desktop computer and then drag it into your browser window. The same goes for downloading a file from the File Manager to your hard disk. Plus, you can download files and even folders to your disk drive by pushing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager GUI, you can create a new file or folder with just one mouse click. All action buttons are handily placed above the file/folder list and you can update your files with ease. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to another folder, preview the contents of a file or change its permissions, delete a file, and so on.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager GUI, you will be able to archive and extract all types of files. It works surprisingly fast - simply select the files you want to make an archive of and push the Compress button. You can even select the type of the new archive (.rar, .zip, and so on). It is just as easy to extract the contents of an archive to a chosen folder.
File Editors
With the File Manager graphical user interface, you really do not need any third-party tools in order to update your files. There is an image viewer, which enables you to explore the contents of your image files to get an idea of how the images will in fact appear on your website. Additionally, you will find a set of built-in file editors, which will grant you complete authority over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are aimed at more experienced users, while the WYSIWYG editor (where you can see all HTML code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced users.
